Here I will teach you how to make a simple heart cursor on Gimp! You can also use photoshop, but some of the commands may be different. Follow the instructions exactly, but adapt to fit your version of Gimp/ photoshop.
(Click the picture to enlarge it.)

First open the program.

Next go to file, then click new.

The new document should be 32x32.

Create a new layer.

Keep default settings.

Go to view, zoom, then 1600%.

Change to the pencil tool.

Change the pencil size to 0.01, If you're using photoshop make sure it's set to a square shape.

Go down do squares, then down/ over diagonally 4 squares.

Go up/ over diagonally 3 squares, then up 2.

Go over 2 squares on both sides.

Go over one more square on both sides, then down one.

Go over four squares then down three.

Change the colour, then click the fill tool.

Fill in the heart.

Remove the background.

Save your cursor as a png file.

Next you want to go to tinypic and upload your photo. Then copy the 'Direct link for layouts.'
The HTML code you want to use for your cursor is here. Paste in your direct URL where it says to. Then just paste the code into your Tumblr, Witty, etc. DO NOT REMOVE HELP CREDIT.
If you did use this tutorial, and it helped you please comment that you did, and the link to your profile! These tutorials take at least 2 hours to make, so I'd like to know that people are using them, and that they do help them. If nobody is using them, then there isn't any point in making them.

Hiya! I'm Becca and I'm a Freshman in guard and I'm going to be a Freshman in highschool this year (2013-2014.) I went to my first One Direction concert 7-5-2013 in Hershey and it has inspired me to never give up on my dreams, one of those has always been to be a singer. I'm going to be taking tech classes in highschool (these include Photoshop and Illustration design and Computer Applications) and I'm also going to be taking more types of dance, joining the school's dance team, and doing Color Guard. Soooo yeah. That's pretty much it haha.
